A fresh, funny, and physical look at Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya. In this new work, only the men remain, wrestling with their desires and pressed to examine a life unlived.

Originally conceived as a companion piece to TMB's Chekhov's Sisters, TMB Artistic Director Tina Kronis has imagined an adaptation of Vanya with only the men. Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy presented this new work as a part of their 2009 Fall season. The production was selected as a regional finalist and is participating in the Kennedy Center American College Regional Festival in Utah. Before going, the college is mounting TWO BENEFIT PERFORMANCES. Come support the production before it heads to the festival.
